I went this morning to visit the Curacao Marriott Hotel and I must say that Curacao Marriott Hotel is one of the perfect luxury oceanfront Resort for a Caribbean Destination Wedding. The resort offers exclusive packages for a romantic wedding in Curacao. You will find a beautiful decor, a mixture of European Colonial architecture with a touch of the caribbean charm. They have unique locations but their signature location would be directly on the beach overlooking the ocean and sunset.

My vacation in Curacao is almost over, I had a blast! it's definitely a beautiful country to visit. For my athletic wedding couples who want to have an active honeymoon after their wedding, CURACAO is the place to be! you will never get bored. You will dive together into a paradise with over 60 identified dive sites to choose from and discover the most beautiful natural sites in the world.
For my wedding couples who just want to have more peaceful activities, you can experience a nice walk on the famous moving bridge connecting to Punda where you will find the main shopping area (pedestrians-only shopping streets) with beautiful spots for photos opportunities. Or you could just relax under the sun with an exotic drink.
A special thank you to Benito Desroches for being my guide. Until next time, have a great one with your loves one.

So, for my couple who would like a bit of adventure for their honeymoon, Curacao is one of the best place to be! Until next time, I'm leaving you with this question, when choosing your destination wedding, what are the three top things that you consider? Bon Bini to CURACAO!!!

After experiencing an excess of horrible customer service with Delta Airlines (by the way, I will never fly with that airline anymore) where you practically had to guess why there was a 4hres delay because none of the Delta's representative bother to give you any explanation or updates, and of course missing my connection and had to wait another 5hres to catch the next flight, it's a relief to finally reach my destination: CURACAO. A warm and pleasant BON BINI! this is what you get when you enter this modern aiport with a touch of Caribbean style. (Bon Bini means Welcome in Papamiento)
Curacao is a Netherlands Antilles (Dutch Caribbean) where they speak Papamiento, Dutch, English and Spanish. I will be staying with relatives in Ceru Corail Resort in Willemstad, the Capital. Next time, I will share with you information about the procedure of getting married in Curacao and of course pictures.
In the meatime, I'm leaving you with that question: Will you consider having your destination wedding in a location you never visited before?
Until next time, HAPPY PLANNING!

Happy first day of summer - Outdoor wedding

Happy first day of summer!
Here in Canada, we are always waiting for that day and you can imagine why. For having to live in the cold for 7 months, it’s like a relief to finally feel the sun on your skin. Specially for this period, outdoor wedding is the favorite option for most couple. But what should you consider when making this decision? Here’s a few tips:

Think about your guests confort and don’t leave them melting – I always propose to my clients to look into the possibility to print their wedding program on a fan, that way the guests can cool down themselves.
Furthermore, have a backup plan – In case of raining, what will you do? Always look for the possibility to have an indoor space just in case; most of the banquet hall give this option.
Also, don’t forget the decorations - An outdoor wedding is always a 10/10 thanks to the natural beautiful green spaces around you, but you still want to add some more things like decorated arch, aisle runner, closed aisle with tulle and flowers, etc.
I will talk more about outside wedding and post some pictures of the different scenarios you could have for decoration.
In the meantime, enjoy your summer and Happy planning!
